Meeting Tamara was one of the most rewarding and heart warming experiences of my life.
I stayed with her during my trip to Hawaii in January 2017 and she invited me to join her along Pali Highway where she shares her love and joy with every soul that drives by each morning. For 3 hours we waved, jumped and cheered to every vehicle passing by and words can’t describe how amazing it felt to receive everyone’s love in return, the vibrational energy was so high it was giving me goosebumps! It was such a nice feeling to see the huge smile on everyone’s face as they started their day, especially all of the children so happy to see us. It was easily one of the happiest moments of my life and I’m so thankful that Tamara was able to share it with me. It taught me that when you give to others, life gives back to you even more.
I encourage everyone to learn from her example and help spread the message of peace and love, it really changes the way you approach each and every day. I can honestly say that I’m a lot more grateful for everything I have in my life and I consciously shift focus from my mind to my heart. Tamara has inspired me to start my own little project to spread peace and love in the animal world. I currently volunteer for Wild At Heart, a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Sudbury, Ontario and I plan to use my passion for making videos to help raise awareness for the centre. We’ll hopefully attract new opportunities and raise more money to take care of the injured and orphaned wildlife in our community.
Thank you Tamara for giving me a new direction in life! I’m so very honoured to be a part of your journey.

This is Tamara, a 55 year old yoga teacher from Patagonia, Chile. She spends 2-3 hours nearly every morning on the side of the road throwing shakas and blowing kisses to commuters as they head to work.. Her motivation comes from her unwavering belief that each of us can create the change we want to see in the world. The simple change she wishes to see is more love and compassion. An incredible person and a great example for all of us. /www.instagram.com/p/BTdJE8jjB8q/?taken-by=shanegracey

Awareness is more important than ever ... our own day-to-day lives are so busy, yet there's an increasing number of problems affecting people around the world. And not just people! Animals, trees, coral reefs, entire habitats. It's a lot to digest.
Against all this, what use is holding a sign with an uplifting message? It's of immense use. If you drive along the highway in the morning, tired and dreading work, and see a woman smiling and holding a sign - that person wishes you well, and often you think positive thoughts in reaction. I'm hugely impacted by my thinking patterns, and I'm guessing most people are. The Peace Project aims to help cultivate these positive thoughts - hope, joy, compassion. Everybody could use more of that in their lives.

I am constantly impressed by the work that Miss Tamara does. She always comes to our clinic at Kalihi Palama with a smile and flowers and brightens my day, not to mention the smile that she puts on our patient's faces when she hands out flowers. This project brings a positive energy to all of us in the clinic and we appreciate all the effort that is put into bringing a smile to the world :) Thank you for everything you do!

Tamara is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. She is a person who truly carries and advocates Hawaii Aloha Spirit within the hearts. She is upbeat, encouraging, and caring. I hope one day we can cross the path again.
